WWE WrestleMania 2022: WrestleMania 38 Day 1 All matches

The greatest sporting event of all time is back. This year, WWE will hold its 38th version of WrestleMania in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The massive event will span two nights and feature nearly every major talent on the roster. Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey are hosting their Royal Rumble clashes, with WWE Champion Lesnar taking on Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a title vs. title bout. Rousey will face Charlotte Flair, the current SmackDown Women’s Champion. When Raw Champion Becky Lynch defends her title against Bianca Belair, the other women’s championship will be on the line.

Additionally, social media sensation Logan Paul will join The Miz to take on Rey and Dominik Mysterio in tag team action. When the four interact, Paul and Miz have the upper hand over the Mysterios, who have been battling for weeks. Seth Rollins will be joined by a surprise guest when he competes at WrestleMania against an as-yet-undisclosed opponent. WrestleMania 38 will air live on Peacock, as with other major WWE events. The main card will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on both nights, following an hour-long kickoff event. Let’s take a look at what we know about WWE WrestleMania 38, as well as what we expect.

WWE WrestleMania 38 Matches Day 1

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship: Lynch returned to WWE and defeated Belair in seconds at SummerSlam to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Belair yearned for a definitive rematch, and settling things at WrestleMania was the only way WWE could make amends for the terrible decision they made with Lynch’s first win over Belair. Belair won the women’s Elimination Chamber match, earning her a spot on the show.

Logan & The Miz Paul vs. The Mysterios: Miz struggled in two-man matchups against Rey and Dominik Mysterio, losing to Rey in the Elimination Chamber event. After this loss, he decided to call on a friend to help him even the odds. Paul, the social media star turned boxer who has spent the last year flirting with the possibility of fighting in WWE, was that friend.

TBA vs. Seth Rollins: With reports circulating that Rhodes is returning to WWE after a stint as one of the creators of AEW, everything is set for Rollins to face him. Rollins was often “left out” after failing to secure a spot. Rollins was called into Vince McMahon’s office, where he was told he would have a match at the event, although he wouldn’t know his opponent until he was in the ring.

Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin: McIntyre has been feuding with Corbin and Madcap Moss for months, defeating Moss on Day 1 and in the Elimination Chamber, nearly murdering Moss. McIntyre vs. Corbin was always going to happen, and we finally get that game. While waiting for McIntyre to return to the main event picture, this has been a method of keeping him busy and on TV.

The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship: On the March 11 episode of SmackDown, Boogs and Nakamura had a shot at a title shot. If Boogs and Nakamura could defeat Jey, Jimmy offered them a SmackDown Tag Team Title fight. Boogs dispatched the champ quickly, putting them on the WrestleMania card for the first time.

Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship: The question was what championship Rousey would challenge for after winning the Royal Rumble. Rousey made it official on February 4 when she appeared on SmackDown to challenge Flair to a match at WrestleMania. It’s not a shocking choice, but Flair vs. Rousey is the type of battle WWE likes to promote as the women’s main event for the biggest event of the year, and if anyone can get Rousey to stand beat vigorously in her first singles contest. in years, it’s Flair.

Cold as ice Kevin Owens hosts The KO Show, which features Steve AustinOwens promised the biggest knockout show in history and demanded an appearance from iconic WWE Champion Austin. The offer was accepted and “Stone Cold” promised to bring the battle to Owens.
