WWE ‘Raw’: Nikki ASH cashes, Goldberg confronts Bobby Lashley

July 20 (UPI) – Nikki ASH cashed in her new Money in the Bank briefcase and the Hall of Famer Goldberg returned to take on WWE Champion Bobby Lashley on Gross.
Almost a superhero Nikki ASH got him moving as Charlotte Flair defended the Raw Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley in the main event of Gross Monday.
Flair had just won the title against Ripley on Sunday in Money in the bank à la carte event, where Nikki ASH claimed the Money in the Bank briefcase. Items grant a World Championship match at any time.
Flair ended her fight against Ripley early by using the Raw Women’s Championship as a weapon against her rival. The referee ended the match with a disqualification and the Queen celebrated her title until Ripley started attacking her.
Ripley got into a fight with Flair outside the ring and tackled her to the ground with a Riptide as Nikki ASH ran towards the ring with her briefcase in hand.
Nikki ASH handed the briefcase to the referee and officially cashed it, prompting a Raw Women’s Championship match against Flair on the spot. Nikki ASH climbed to the third rope, landed a Crossbody on Flair and pinned her to become new Raw Women’s Champion. Nikki ASH celebrated with the live crowd as Raw rolled off the air.
Goldberg made a surprise comeback after Lashley hosted an open challenge to which Keith Lee responded.
The open challenge came after Lashley successfully defended his WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston at Money in the bank dominantly. The open challenge also marks Lee’s first game in months.
The champion won the match after nailing Lee with a spear. Goldberg’s iconic theme song then began to play with the living legend stepping into the ring as the crowd chanted his name.
Goldberg looked at Lashley and shouted that he was next.
John Cena, after making his return to WWE at Money in the bank, launched Gross to discuss the reasons for his return.
The 16-time world champion got the crowd excited and made it known he wanted to challenge SmackDown’s Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam, which takes place on August 21.
Cena ended his speech by stating that he will be at SmackDown on Friday to meet Reigns face to face.
Other moments of Gross included Riddle and The Viking Raiders defeating Raw Tag Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos and John Morrison; Jaxson Ryker defeats Elias in a Symphony of Destruction match; Natalya and Tamina, women’s team champions, defeating Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler; Reginald becomes the new 24/7 champion; United States champion Sheamus defeating Humberto Carrillo; and Jeff Hardy defeating NXT Champion Karrion Kross, who was making his Raw beginnings.
