Kodak Black takes a hell of a step back. But the fact that Latte won the trophy he thought he should have won put him in his feelings.
As spotted on Complex the Pompano Beach, Florida native talked a lot about the recent BET Hip Hop Awards. Latto’s “Big Energy” won Song of the Year and he took to Instagram Live to share his thoughts on it. “Why don’t you guys do my tie with cappuccino? But y’all made sure Caresha Please tied with Drink Champs. All that shit felt like a fucking conspiracy,” he exclaimed. “Then I look at the gram like what Shawty blocked me for? They probably yell at BET, like don’t give it that shit. I said it weeks ago. Watch them play with me and give it to Frappuccino.
He continued to dig into his little bag and quietly claim he had been romantically involved with Yung Miami saying “my cheeks before Diddy”. Later, Latto seemingly responded to Kodak’s criticisms and tweeted “What kind of frappuccino do I look like I taste like???” Not missing a step, he also took to Twitter and alleged that she won the trophy because she was a woman. “Sh*t Kool Women’s Empowerment! Don’t Take Nun From Anyone But You Must Always Work For It!” he wrote. “Don’t Just Give It To Someone Kuz They A Woman!!!!! If so, you should give Glorilla Not That Hating Ass Mutt Song of the Year.
He went on to theorize that Drake and Future should have won Latto and suggested that BET should remove their senior vice president of music from the network. “Not Drake! No Future! But let go???? Hell Nawl!!!! @Connieorlando needs to be fired!!!. This stupid song doesn’t move anyone! Forget me at this point! AT LEAST ‘F*** N***a Free’ Was An Anthem! Tf you think “SONG OF THE YEAR” means ????”
