Kid Cudi to replace Kanye West at Rolling Loud Miami 2022

The announcement was made less than a week after the start of the three-day festival. Bad news for anyone who was looking forward to seeing Kanye West take the stage at Rolling Loud Miami this weekend – the 45-year-old dropped out of training and was even replaced by one of his former best friends. Sunday afternoon, July 17, Kid Cudi took to Twitter to unveil an updated poster for the event, listing him, Future, and Kendrick Lamar as the headliners for the three days of music at Hard Rock Stadium. “RAGER BOY INCOMING,” he captioned the exciting news. The post from the “Mr. Rager” artist caused confusion, as Rolling Loud’s official account had yet to address the change, but shortly after using their own social media accounts to explain the situation. “Due to circumstances beyond our control, Ye will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022,” organizers wrote in an Instagram post. “Please welcome @kidcudi!” In the comments section, the co-founder and co-CEO added, “I tried to convince Ye to stay in the lineup, but he didn’t have it.”

Other responses reveal obvious dissatisfaction from some customers. “Nobody wanted Cudi,” said one user. “I should have given us Travis Scott at least.”
“Kid Cudi only had two festival-worthy songs that people could sing along to” and “Bring Drake Out There,” others added.
Although Ye’s loss has upset some, many are happy to see Kodak Black’s name remain on the list after his arrest in Florida earlier this weekend.
Curiously, however, Gunna’s name has also retained a spot on Saturday’s lineup, despite the fact that he has been incarcerated for weeks and will remain so throughout 2022.
