Las Vegas artist Alli ‘Starr knows the great horizons, and in the video “More” she is the queen of the desert.

LAS VEGAS, NV, USA, Jan 10, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ – HIP HOP WEEKLY FIRST:

Video makers love the desert. Musicians too. In the sandy expanses, the horizon seems to go on forever – there is no obstacle to the imagination and nothing stands in the way of a daydream. It’s a wide open space, perfect for projecting fantasies, and Alli ‘Starr’s desert scenario is a fulfillment of some of his wildest desires. In the video for “More”, the R&B singer and her friends have four muscular men blindfolded and strapped to stools, entirely at the mercy of the women. (And let’s just say no one seems too upset with this arrangement.)

The images in the clip are a logical extension of Alli ‘Starr’s character. She is a woman in control, concerned with personal satisfaction and determined to get what she wants. Alli ‘Starr appears in black, and when she swings around her long braid, she is the human embodiment of a whip. Then there is her singing voice, which is authoritative even when she is just telling you what she wants. She’s both sultry and cool, inviting and bossy – and she always lets you know exactly where she is.

Producers Tyler Gaston and Tiana Shai gave Starr a marvel of rhythm to sing along to: a tight, sultry, relentless tune suited to club and late-night musings. Trapping drums, sighing backing vocals, deep, throbbing bass and whistling and purring synthesizers: everything in “More” is designed to immerse you deeper into the singer’s network of erotic associations. But the song, irresistible as it is, is just a taste of what the star can do. Situationship, her upcoming EP, highlights her flexibility, versatility and ambition and leaves no doubt as to why she was selected as a backing vocalist for artists as diverse as Phil Perry, Bobby Womack, The Ohio Players, Barbara Streisand, and more.

As a Las Vegas-based artist, Alli ‘Starr is extremely familiar with the great outdoors. She knows all about the endless possibilities of the big sky and the excitement of a blank canvas. In the “Plus” clip, she is the queen of the desert, decked out in stockings, an outrageous dress and black jewels fixed to her face; when she approaches muscular men, she does so with swagger and absolute authority. All of this is a reminder that Alli ‘Starr is an actress and dancer as well as a top-notch R&B singer, and when she and her partners line up in the middle of the road and start to move, the sunny landscape catches fire.
